By plane:
The nearest airports are Santiago de Compostela (SCQ), A Coruña (LCG), or Vigo (VGO), all within about 30–90 minutes of the city by taxi or bus. You can also fly into Madrid and continue by train to Santiago de Compostela, which takes around 3 hours.
Public transport:
Public transport isn't really necessary — Santiago de Compostela is a small, walkable city. From the main train station it's about a 15-minute walk to IGFAE. If you arrive at the airport, the bus into the city center costs just 1 euro in cash.
By foot:
If you're arriving via the Camino de Santiago, congratulations — and welcome. You've already outwalked most conference attendees. Just keep following the yellow arrows and scallop shells; ours is one of the few buildings in town without a stamp for your credencial.
